Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi All,
I am thinking about a 2000 to 2002 model Discovery as I have only had toyo's in the past I don't know any specific problems to look for. The main reason for choosing a discovery is T/D auto for under $15000 and only 10 to 12 years old. It would mainly be my wife's car hence the auto and also tow our 18 foot van and some beach driving. Any help on what I would need to look for will be greatly appriciated .
