Blue slips NSW

Do you need the tops on doors ? I only have doors with glass and top removed

im not 100% sure but i think they will want complete doors for a blue slip, blue slips are fairly stringent.

I would have thought not, if the door tops were designed to be removable for a soft top/convertable type car.

If i were in this situation i'd make a couple of anonymous calls to local inspectors to ask.

go to tuff truck 2002 team madshit happens
bj 73 removed fibre of roof doors r cut at window height
im up at Inverell
just got some 37 treps and want to play again

spoke to rta yesterday cut doors r fine so long as you do not cut through
side impact reinforcement ( none on my cruiser :armsup: )

interesting, the last blue slip i got done the guy wanted the car to be basically stock as a rock, didnt like anything that was non standard even if legal and bolt on bolt off.

I recently blue slipped my car after an engineers report and it doesn't have doors at all and there was no question about them being fitted.

He did pick the tyres slightly protruding from the guards so I fitted Bunnings flairs for the day and he passed it.
