Outer Limits 4x4 Board

About 3 months ago, my 2H engine s#*t itself so I had it rebuilt. We went with the rebuild option because at the time we couldn't find a 12HT that we like the looks of. As it turns out, we have stumbled across a 12HT that was rebuilt not to long ago for a price we are happy with (damn Murphy's Law). Now my question is, how much could I sell my rebuilt 2H for if we decided to? Just to give you a bit of an idea, it has 417000km on the clock, rebuilt 3000km ago which included the injector pump, injectors and pretty much everything engine related.

You will never look back from the 12ht mate, if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the 12ht? I would say after past experiences a 2h in used condition is worth about 1200 at best with rebuild I would say 15-1700 but anywhere up to 2g if you find the right person and depending on how in depth you went with the rebuild. Could be more or less, that is just a guess from what i have dealt with in the last year or two with 3 2h's sold locally

A unknown out of a wreck sells for about $1000 there used to be a lot sold before the new trading rules. I would stick yours on ebay with a reserve of $2500 buy now $3500 if you have good receipts. Just my 2 cents.

for a 2h? wow. Last ones i saw in running condition were going for $400 - $500 would have although at rebuilt one would be $1000-$1500 tops, any more than that and people would just look at 12ht's surely.

complete 2h 60 series are going for 2500.

But that's not to say it won't be worth 2500 to the right buyer, just don't expect it to walk out the door.

I would advertise it on here and other 4wd forums first, not ebay. I think with ebay you'll just be paying alot in fees, and will be relisting it often.

hmm so the consensus seems to be anywhere between $2-3500. It would be sold complete with starter motor and injector pump as well so this might improve the price yeah?. Well if it does come to it, then I'll keep all the advice in mind. Thanks guys for the replies.

Oh and just for the mods Re. ads in the wrong places; this wasn't an ad, it was just me trying to get a rough price idea.

Didn't think that this one was an advertising campaign, just chasing rough price for what u have got and for what you have done to it. That's pretty much tech to me, you weren't trying to sell it directly, I don't think that the mods were up you just a general warning to keep things in check. So what dd you pay for your 12ht?

Haven't brought it. It's still in a wrecked car that we know of. But as a complete motor it would be a good buy. The owner isn't 100% sure on the price of it yet but it won't be more then $5000

This mod wasnt up him at all. My post was aimed at other posts in here that say for sale or something similar.
One I removed and the other I took the bit about for sale out but left due to the tech it also contained.

im thinkin of selling my 12ht aswell but have no idea how much it worth? done 396000km new incectors and stuuf. thinkin of puting in a 5.7 gen 3.

So ppl would rather pay $5000 for an unknown 12ht than $3000 for a 2H rebuilt with a rebuilt pump and new injectors?

12ht is win if its got under 1000000kms its still going strong
