hi guys i am looking for a GQ for around the 12grand mark i found this one.

1992 GQ nissan patrol 280000kms, 4.2 turbo deisel. vehilce has 3" suspension lift, 2" body lift and 33" mud tyres, snorkel, 3" exhaust. has a hot water shower under bonnet, cargo barrier, rear draws, dual batterys, aux wiring to rear for fridge. rear quarter panels have been cut and has a custom rear bar. has rock sliders. pioneer cdplayer, UHF. ther is also a ARB compressor under passenger seat.

the car is everything i am looking for it drives great and is in decent nick for the age, only problem is the rust it has little rust all along the guutering and two big spots at the back either side, and small rust on the rear bumper corners.
this picture is the worst of the rust its like this on the sane place eiether side of the guttering.

i offerd him 8 grand for it as a starting price he wassent keen to talk prices he said lowest he would go is 11 grand.
what do you guys think it is worth? and how much do you think to cut out the rust and repair properly?

Bit steep mate, I just picked up a Shorty Maverick with lockers, barwork, 33's, snorkel blah blah for $5000 and it doesnt have anywhere near that amount of rust. $8-10K would be about right.

x2 for to much coin, unless you can do the work yourself that would cost alot to fix and look good again, minus rust i would think 8-9k.

i have just been looking so damn long for a gq and cant find any that are a fair price every one is asking for stupid amounts of money! i guess ill just keep on hunting for a nice one :roll:
