Hi all,

Has anyone looked at/seen or put in a single bucket seat in the rear of a 105 series std wagon ?
I am looking to convert the wagon to be able to put a stretcher in the rear for emergency evacuation. My plan is to remove the rear bench seat and possibly the front passenger bench seat and replace with cruiser single bucket seats. the rear seat will be behind the driver to enable observation of the patient if required. The front seat can then be folded forward if required to enble the stretcher to be fitted (this may or maynot be required).

I dont see any issue with coverting the front seat, but am unsure on how the rear bench seat mounts. I believe I will have to have a frame made up t accept the bucket seat and rails.

The vehicle is currently on a mine site, so access to it is limited.

If anyone has any experience in this, I would appreciate the feedback.

cheers

I don't see any issue doing it that way. Mounts would have to be fabricated and engineer approved.

I have seen it done in an 80 series. A front bucket seat used as they are narrower than one side of the standard rear folding seats.
