Has anyone used an X link with superflex arms aswell? Or can it be done?

They both do the same job, but work different. Out of the both I would go Superior flex arm..... I cant recall but with the x link where the front radius arm bolts onto the diff is removed. To allow the flex when the bolt from the front diff is removed... Superflex I believe , are the best design in front flex around for the nissan and toyotas ... So simple and effective
If its flex your after , redo the front end with coilovers and a long arm setup.

Both on the same truck won't work. Probably easier to redesign the front end. I see you already have SF arms from your build thread.

I'm guessing that you want more out of the front? The roll resistance of the front end is so much higher than the back it doesn't do anything until the rear reaches full travel. Check your front shock length and crossmember clearance as well.

Depending on how much road time/legality you have in mind you have a few choices:
1. Do nothing and drive to suit the way the truck behaves (body following the front axle)
2. Run a rear sway bar to add to the roll resistance and force the front end to work against the bind of the design. This will help and done right won't limit rear travel.
3. Redesign and run a 3 or 5 link etc.

If you have the SF arms and aren't happy take them out and put in an x-link, or a 3/5 link.

the SF arms and x-link aren't exactly the same. SF arms are designed to have road manners in mind.

Don't know if you can actually use both, but I think it would be a collossal waste of time and money.

There was a discussion on it before, search and ye shalt find.

It's not that im not happy with them. I reckon they're great. I was just asking the question of can it be done.

When you hit the brakes the diff will try roll forward. Instead if the one regular arm taking the roll load as the design of the superflex is. It will instead transfer across from the regular arm through the x link and then run wild in all the super flex arms bushes. So the setup will actually have very poor resistance to diff wrap and therefore cause horrid handling. Would probably flex good tho. That said. Rays cruiser with standard arms and his. Cranky link. Flexed awesome. The design of the two work alright Alone but eliminates important characteristics when used together.
