Hi Mate, ive got a 1999 jack L8 standard, ive got mates with Pajeros and cruisers and mine keeps up with all of them, they are such an underrated car. mine is standard at present with MAXXISS ATs, but will go anywere, also on the brakes maybe you got a dodgy one, my brakes are fantastic, pulls up better them my commodore.
hope this helps

Hi, i am looking at buying one also, I have been told the 2001 onward were wide track. Is there any advantage in the wide track model? Also I have been told the diesels are problematic and the V6 is the go for power and reliability. I prefer Automatic but would like to know if there was any problems with the Autos?

Don't know on the widetrack thing but the auto's are fine as long as they've been serviced reg . run a cooler helps esp if towing . great car , will break frt cv's when pushed hard tho ..
