Hilux 3l TD 2000-2003 model. What to watch out for?

Hey guys,
I finally sold my car and am back in the market for another Fourby! I've previously owned a GQ 4.2LPG and a GU 4.2L TD and now looking at getting a Dual Cab Lux around the 2000-2003 year model as I need a dual cab for my lifestyle.
Just on here looking for advice or tips what to look out for and what's a common problems on these cars and generally those who have owned one, how you rate it in the bush as it will be my first Leaf Sprung vehicle.
I think fitting 35's on this thing will be an expensive exercise and 33's is the way to go? And any tips on what to modify on them or what's a must do mod besides winch, snorkel etc
