Hi to all, I am a new member to this forum and am thinking of buying a 94ish petro 4 runner, I would then like to add a small v8 petrol chev or the like to ti. Has anyone had any experience or suggestions for me to consider.
Cheers.

Holden 308 would need to be full time gas.

Holden EFI can run petrol but will cost a lot more to install.

Not sure if you can engineer a chev (350) into a 4 Runner.

Why does the 308 need to be gas :?:

You won't get and old carbied 308 engineered because it won't pass emissions (the engiune has to be as good or better emissions wise for it to be engineerable)

Yep, only way to pass emmisions (or satisfy the engineer) is to run straight gas, which includes all evidence of the petrol system removed, tank, lines, etc.

An EFI motor of same or younger vintage can run petrol.

I have seen an EFI 350 engineered into a Triton and would be pleased if it can be done in a Hilux based vehicle too
