78 and 79 series handbrake cables - same or different?

Post by hj 45 »

G'day all, about to change the rear drums on my HJ 47 troopy to the 60/75 handbrake and I have a 78 series handbrake cable, which appears to be too short, I have been told a 79 series cable is long enough, but I'd have thought they'd both be the same length? :? Anyone out there definitely know if they are the same or different?
