hilux timing belt (86)

Hi i broke a timing belt on my 1986 2.4 turbo diesel and have been looking everywere for a diagram on it and found a surf 1 would that be the same motor cheers Ev
Could someone give me just the timing marks PLEASE

2L and 3L are more or less the same engine so it should be very similar if not the same.
Cant help for marks but to be honest i would recommend grabbing a manual if your starting from scratch with nothing aligned.

From memory the injector pump mark is engine side, there's a dot on the cam to line up and the crank is on the bottom. They are all pretty obvious from memory.
Never knew if the L's were an interference engine or not if they are you might be wasting your time with the new belt?

l engines are an interferance engine, its rare for a deisel not to be.
