Highflowed 1HDT ct26 suits a 1fz?

Just curious, probably a stupid question though, but I was wondering if a highflowed ct26 works on a 1fz, or is it still too small?

i reckon it'd still be too small.
and apparently 1fz's can take 8psi comfortably without the need for an aftermarket ecu

The smaller you make the turbo, the more boost it will naturally want to run to keep up with the flow of the larger motor.

Power you will make with a GT35R at 5Psi would be equal to probably 15PSI in a little ct26.

Larger turbo, lots of flow, lots less boost = Reliability.

Boost is just a meaningless number in most circumstances, at 8psi on a GTX42R those motors make inexcess of 400hp atw. Certainly not ok for the standard ecu.

Even the last one we built was a turbonetics T70 @ 6psi and made 200kw at the wheels. The standard fuel system is running out of puff by about 190kw. 200 would be the safe limit without upgrades.
