Coilover mounts for the rear

I just ordered coil overs for the rear of my 75 and was chasing some ideas on how to make the upper mount on the chassis.

I have two ideas,

1- have a u shaped loop on either side of the chassis joined by a straight piece of pipe running between the two.

or

2- Have two u shaped pipe that run parrallel to each other running from one side of the chassis to the other joined to each other in a few places by small pipe.

What are your thoughts? pics of set ups would be good as well as i couldnt find many when searching.

cheers simkell

That was along my lines of thinking.

does it matter which way the bolt for the coil overs are mounted, bolt parrallel to the chassis or perpendicular?? I;m assuming there is enough movement in the bush top and bottom of the coil over to allow for the flex.

The mount at the top ran across ways to the chassis and the lower mount on the diff ran towards the front and rear of vehicle.
Hope that made sense.
