can anyone tell me (never pulled one apart,ive herd your left with a box off parts{transfercase}when you separate them,is there a way off seprarating them, and putting an other gearbox in without dissmantling transfere.

Transfer must be disassembled to access some of the bolts that hold the front half of the transfer housing to the back of the gearbox.

thanks for info,;can this be done by a semi skilled person (separating gearbox/transfer and puting transfer onto other gearbox) or is it best left to experts.
