steering damper clearance on a 60

g'day all, i've just fitted an efs extreme damper to my 60, it bolted up fine but there is not a lot of clearance between it and the bottom of my power steering pulley. (its a 12ht) is this going to give me dramas with up travel ? any clues? i was told this was the right one for the job.
