Just a suggestion - see if you can get the 419's - There was a bloke on POS selling them for $2500/pair a few months back.
That way you get disc brakes and even more strength. Plus a few other benefits.

Ive been getting prices on Dana 60's and Mogs and it looks like although it will take alot more effort to fit them mogs are the cheapest option...

I still need to give you your axles back when i get it out ill message you for your address and have it sent to you... thanks heaps for that too..

It's all good Benny.... The ones iv decided on are factory recoditioned, if I can break a shaft/axle wow I'm doing well... uni's and bearing can be sourced after market locally ...
It's taken Greg yrs to brake the mog rover... And he drives on full throttle all the time I only do it sometimes... :finger:

How much would a "normal" set cost? (Only front steer, rear without steer)

I can probably google it but, what final reduction do they have? (at the pinion, and if someone knows what reduction the portal box has).

Also can they be converted to disc setup relatively "easy"? (i.e. Patrol rotors and calipers?)

Cost for standard set up would only be a not much different a few hundred less if that, final reduction is 7-1, and yes you cam convert them to disc break set up... Matt Dunk use to do the conversion and he is quoting me for the pinion conversions...
