1993 Vitara front bumper removal

I have partly ripped out the plastic part of the front bumper of my 1993 Vitara (don't ask ).
I have a DVD manual that makes no mention of the bumper, but a good look at the damage makes me hope that there is a one-piece metal part that is full width and that the plastic part was, and still is partly, attached to it by about eight hidden bolts. It looks as if the metal part is attached to the chassis by four bolts. Is this so? If it is, I imagine I can undo these four bolts and remove the whole assembly and re-attach the plastic bit to the metal bit somehow.
The DVD is from Chilton Total Car Care , and is a bit of a dud. Is there any other manual available with lots of illustrations?
