sierra 1.3 reving/electrical problem :\ im dumb-found

Post by suzuki lj80 »

hey guys, went wheeling with Dano80 this arvo and found out that when I turn my head lights on, or my A/C on, my 1990 sierra revs up to 2500RPM, then back down to 1000, then back up to 2500 and back down and so on, till I turn the lights or A/C off, any of you guys know of how to solve this problem?

cheers

the idle up thingo on the front of the carby will be cactus. start the motor, turn on the lights and have a look at
the front of the carby for the thingo that will be moving the throttle rod. cut the wire to it. fixed.

Wire it up to power from a switch so you have a throttle up, you can adjust the setting..
Handy when you dont want to drop back to 0% throttle when crawling etc.
