Search for info on Team Drover

Post by alexcliffo »

Hi All,

Does anyone have any information on the build/details of this rig, from '08 TTC.

http://tufftruck.com.au/entrants/TTC2008/team/122" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I remember I was impressed with it when I saw it, and just saw that it came a very respectable 10th.

Any info would be appreciated, cheers

Alex.

I think its just been sold for a very cheap price

GQ f/r diffs
GU steering box
5l holden with t700 and from memory landcruiser transfer

Front arms i think were patrol but mounted on top not under.

4 link rear

its rangie/chassie.

it was an old comp truck that got rebuilt.

Matt Dunk built it the last time(patrol diffs etc) and maybe early builds aswell

from memory (bear in mind i'm only 18) i think it used to be Malcom Rea's rangie from the All Terrain club.....i think it used to have 60 series diffs and a 5 litre in it back nearly 10 years ago i've even got a few woodpeckers and nissan trials on video with what it used to look like....it was a really banged up and dull olive drab green, you may have better luck searching that alex???

It was Mals truck along time ago! Got rebuilt after Mal sold it. 60 diffs went and the Patrol diffs went under it plus all the other work. Still had same engine/box/transfer in it.
Alex do u know the guys that bought it??

No mate, I dont. I was after some info as I liked this rig at Tuff truck and was going to use it as inspiration for a build up. Seemed a fairly competitive all rounder.

Thanks for the info Guys.
