Fuel Guage 75 Series

When the tank is on enpty and I fill it, it takes nearly 20 kms for the guage to start to register. Is this the guage or the sender? Cheers

Sounds like the sender to me.

When your driving does the gauge not move, then suddenly drop half a needle?

Hi its the sender clean it and you'll find it will work fine

The tank is standard (under cab.) undid the sender but couldnt work out how to remove. wire harness didnt seem to want to come off.
