vy ss seats.
use the existing gq rails, remove them from the gq seats. Bolt a piece of 25mm square tube on the outside rail between the rail and vertical piece that goes to the seat (spacer), bolt straight onto vy seats - took me about 2hrs to do all

vs seats took a day to put in heaps better then the origanals if you go this way put the passenger on the drivers side so the adjusting knobs dont hit the piller

I fitted WRX seats to my GQ ute, took me ages. Sounds like commodore ones are a whole lot easier...

I fitted autotechnica race seats into my gq, they were fairly straight forward, spacer on the outside rail with two bits of 50x8 flatbar to go between the rails as the race seat mounting pattern was a bit narrower. Heaps more comfy then standard, and the wings help keep you in the seat.

I fitted up some VR senator seats, once again just spaced up one side and used some 4mm plate to make the rails slightly wider.....
