Use the 2.4 diesel you need the bellhousing for the diesel to suit the G52 gearbox that will bolt it to the Bundera gearbox
Hilux and the petrol Bundera both have the G52 gearbox
The engine mounts should fit the same
I thought all Australian Bunderas had the 22R
If your 2.4 is a 2 LT you will need to fit the turbo diesel Bundera R151 gearbox or you will break the G52
You can use the transfer case but you will need to change the input shaft

I have seen a lot of Hiluxs fitted with a G52 run 2LTs with no problems at all. Guts ran his 2.8 with aftermarket Turbo for years and in competition with no problems at all.
Dont be too worried abot the G52 the only reason these break is because people that break them cant drive.
I have seen these last years behind 308s and Commo V6s if treated right.
Im running a 3.9ltr Rover V8 in front of mine and drive it harder off road and in competition use than most people would and it is holding up fine.
As Toyrex said just get a diesel Hilux G52 bellhousing and bolt it in. The mounts will defianatly line up as the Bundera petrol mount brackets on the block are the same as hilux and the mounts line up perfect when doing a petrol-diesel conversion on a hilux.
Solid axle hilux sump should also work in this. Only thing you may find is it will rev a little hard on the hyway if fitted with stock size tyres.

ive got a couple of 2.4 bell housing you can have
pick up from campbelltown free
if the 21r chassis mounts dont suit the 2.4 diesel engine you can buy the brackets from toyota
i fitterd a 3l 2.8litre turbo into a 85 lux for a mate
he was running a 3y petrol
we used the std 5speed box still holding together today 4years later
from memery one engine mount chassis braket had to be replaced/ moved
we got from toyota new about $40.00 i think
but that was for the 3y lux the 21r bundy may not need changing

If the engine is a 93 veersion then it will be a 2LT-E.
