A/C wiring to canister

Got a secondhand A/C for my 84 lux and the main unit in the dash (its the OME for hilux) has 2 wires coming of that would go to the canister in the front grille,But the canister i got dosn`t have the terminals for the wires
What can I do with the origanal wires

mate the cannister you are talking about is known as a reciever dryer. and i suggest you go get a brand new that will have a pressure switch in it. but don't connect it to the system until you are ready to get it gassed up.

Like before mentioned this is a receiver dryer. The wires going there are for a high pressure safety switch. You can connect them together to bypass the switch but is likely to cause damage on a hot day when the head pressure is high.(350 psi+) The switch is designed to cut out when the pressure is to great preventing a/c system pipe burst. A new drier is only around $20 and have a fiiting but do not fit it until you are ready to vacum pump the system and charge with gas
