79 series and 60 series rear diffs.

Hi all just a quick question. Will a rear diff center out of a 79 series ute fit in a 60 series rear housing?

It's 9.5" like the 60 but has 32 splines so it won't fit.

Sorry. It will fit but the 60 series axles can't be used. You could get custom made ones but they'd be more expensive than getting a 30 spline centre.
