Hilux steering components

Hi guys ,
Today i had a disagreement at work with another mechanic over the components in a hilux ln106r Leaf spring front end .
To my knowledge , the RELAY ROD connects the Pitman arm to the o/s/f steering knuckle , which sits on the axle spindle .
Steering force is the transferred to the passenger side knuckle , via the DRAG LINK bar , which allows the wheels to move simultaneously .
I called my mate up who works at toyota , he checked the diagram and says the component between the pitman arm and steering knuckle o/s/f , is the DRAG LINK.
So the real question begins , why have two identical names for two un identical parts of the steering system ,
INPUT anyone?
Cheers!!!
