Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have a 94 NJ 3.0, The engine management light comes on randomly (airflow meter code, replaced Intake air control motor) although this is in no way effecting the engine when it lights up... Secondly after the car has been driven and turned off, when you go to start it, it has a slight fire and if it doesnt start you can crank it over as much as you like and it will do nothing, let it sit again for bout 20mins and it will start (its not flooded), maybe... it also fluctuates its idle speed, sometimes 2000, sometimes 1200 sometime 1800. occasionally 750... although if it sits idle for long enough it will return to around the 1000.. 2 major mechanical service centers have looked at it now, both have returned it in a worse state, but both have been very happy to take my money.. I am looking for any suggestions i can get on way to fix it..
