hi all need to pick your brains lol, have a mate with a 81' HJ60 sahara thats wanting to replace the round headlights with the better looking HJ61/62 twin square headlights, now is this just a straight swap over? ( like ya would on a old kingswoods with the walk off nose clips ) of is there more involved, im aware the wiring for the lights would require some alteration ( but i can knock that up in 10 min ), thinking about doing the same to my 60 when it arrives to,

anyone got any ideas?
cheers all, Pete

hi guys i know this a late reply but i have done a full 1988 sahara swap into a 1983 fj60
i swapped everything full wiring loom dash all 3 rows of seats and the fridge center console plus the headlights n front ,electric windows ........

now for the front end you realy need from the doors forward but you can get around the front guards they do fit but you have no side blinkers if you have some in your bullbar then no problem .
you will have to stripp the front end of in cludng mud gaurds weather you are changing them or not so you can get the radiator support panel of once you have your new twin headlight rad support panel in place refit mudgaurd radiator n all the other bits bonnets are the same but the panel that runs under the grill is different
as it holds the blinkers no cutting or welding required at all

the seats a whole different problem
