Yeah, so i have replaced the main petrol tank and now the thing wont start, empty tank obviously, but it wont start on lpg either. Anybody got any thoughts before i get back to it tomorrow?
I also did the diff breathers, but i would hope i havent stuffed anything in the engine bay, and changed engine oil too.

Could be a coincidence. But you could start with the fuel pump fuses and relays. If one of them isn't responding to the ecu, the ecu may not allow ignition thus it won't work on gas either.

You said if im correct fuel tank is empty. Mine starts on petrol then goes automatically to gas yours might be the same.
Try putting a couple of litres of fuel in. If theres fuel in it check the pumps working.
Mine has a button on the switch for starting straight to log otherwise you can unplug the switch box if its that style gas system and jump it so it runs straight gas.

FYI 99% of gas systems start on petrol then change to gas automatically.
If you jump wires to start on straight gas then make sure you turn the key from off straight to start and vice versa as this way gas is pumping whenever the key is turned. So sitting there for 5 mins with the car on acc while listening to the radio is not a.good idea.

Yeah, im getting some fuel tomorrow to see what happens. I dont think mine starts on petrol though, petrol cold start will bring idle up, while lpg wont idle up when cold.

got the bitch of a thing going
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
, put some fuel in and it started, also noticed that the fuel pump is working all the time, even when on gas
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
so does all this mean you have no chance in hell to get it going with an empty fuel tank
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Not sure thought there would be some kind of cutoff so the fuel pump isn't running when on gas.

only if the gas installer did so
some times they just cut power to the fuel injectors you can add an extra relay to cut the fuel pump

They tell ya to keep 1/4 of a tank minimum of pertol in the tank all the time. I thnk this is so the petrol doesn't get hot from recirculating.
