a 2lt is just a 2l motor with a turbo(bit more to it i know)
will bolt straight in to an 86 that had a diesel or R series petrol. Y series petrols had different mounts.
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

What will you use the car for? Rego"d? Engineered? How extreme you sant to go. I am putting a 3L(2.8) with a turbo and few other goodies in my 85 model single cab. I had a 2.4 N/A gutless not enough power to hurt itself. Now it will have balls and mine is pure mud and odd hill climbs. Twin locked an will have power. Never wanted to go with a bigger motor. If it's going to be hill climbing go petrol. 3Rz or V6 commo because they are free revving motors. Tell what the car is for and it'll help.

Sorry bout rambling on
93 duel cab lux. 2.8 TD twin locked. Big tyres, little lift. Wide stance. Barwork and build up under way
