Is my Troopy lifted?

Post by DUG »

Hi
I just bought a 75 series Troopy (1989) it sits pretty high. how do i know if it has been lifted by a previous owner? apart from trying to find the time to ask an honest suspension shop.
The Chassis rail sits 400mm from the ground.

Thanks

You could look on the springs for part numbers, or brand logos, etc.
Or look in local carparks for a similar car, and park next to it, and compare.

have a look at the distance between the bumpstops and the diff, standard is around 60-70mm.
