Check if there is a hose running from Tcase to Gbox. Normally means output shaft from box is gone. Just stops the box pumping all gear oil unto Tcase and running the box dry

Thanks fellas, thats the kind of info im after.
Is the transfer-gearbox leak a common problem? Im guessing its just the lip seal between the t-case and gearbox that goes?
Yeh Muss i'll be going right over it, in the price range im looking at spending nearly all of them have high kms.

Flogged out leaf springs and bushes/shackles/pins, worn steering components, leaking transfer cases, worn diffs, play in universal joints, leaking window seals, gearbox popping out of fifth gear, noisy thrust bearing, leaking power steering pump, leaking front swivel hubs, leaking axle seals...but I guess that's no different to most fourbies with 300k on the clock!

Rust everywhere.
floors, pillars, roof turret, window surround. doors, did i mention everywhere lol. To give you an idea a second hand roof turret will set you back about $600 with minimal rust because the panels are hard to get without rust.
leaks as mentioned everywhere.
general abuse. they are seen as tough trucks and treated as such by most users.
