Diesel Rodeo auto conversion.

i have a '99 TF 2.8TD Rodeo that i'm thinking about converting to an auto trans (so the missus will drive it 
)
Anyone done this conversion? If so, what transmission did you use and what troubles did you have to overcome.
Thinking a trans from a MU/Frontera (30-80LE ???) as a starting point. I assume this trans needs a TCM to work, any troubles running this off a 4JB1T?
