d22 inner guard clearence

um just trying to fit a 265/75/16 muddies to my 2' inch lifted 2005 d22 having problems doesnt clear the inner guard has anyone ever bashed guard in to clear tyre or any other advice on this????

What part of the inner guard is it hitting? you really should not have a problem with that size and a 2" lift.

if your fitting a 31 inch tyre 2 inch is sweet. 33 you'll need 3 inch and take a hammer to the guard. i still took to mine with a hammer on 31's just to be sure i have no scrub.

they run 30-30.5" tires stock standard. 31 is not exactly much of a step up and should fit without mods.

if you have a closer look the bit it touchs you can cut it out the way it won't effect to much. It not hitting the front mud guards is it.
