Hey Guys,

I'm wanting to get some more under diff clearance and other great off road attributes by using larger tyres,
The only problem is do$h :x , is there a cheap solution for clearing some 32's.....like basic guard trimming etc. on a LN106

Or do I need to stuff around with torque arm lengths or x over steer??? The thing currently runs 31's with very minor scrubbing.

Thanks guys.

Dano.

32s should fit on standard suspension dude. If yours has sagged that much perhaps look at new springs or longer shackles.

You're only dealing with an extra half inch of rubber. It won't scrub too much more than now. Bigger offset rims might help, depending on where it scrubs.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the replies, the truck has a 2-2.5 inch lift so height is no probs,
I'm worried about damaging the rear of the front guard whilst flexing, I believe this model
has an issue compared with earlier models. I think the normal fix is to move front diff and
modify steering setup ($$$)

Cheers, Dano.

Chop the guards or change your signature to: UN-AFFORDABLE MOWING & MAINTENANCE and do it properly ;)

Thats a point, guys.

I'd prefer to keep the "rollux" as low as possible though.

I reckon I'll just chop chop the guards.

Cheers, Dano.

I got 33s fitting under my LN 65 all I had to do was hammer the join it the body. Just near the mud flaps. I got 2" shackles now and fit 35s . Without scrubbing

I have 32" tyres on an LN106 that has sagged 2" lifted leaf springs. The tyres do catch on the plastic inner with minimal flex (ie driving up a driveway) but only just.
Hammering the guard 5-10mm would probably clear it. I have just got some 2" extended shackles and will eventually get some new leaves. The shackles only give a very minimal lift effect as I understand it but that would probably be enough - I'll know by next week I guess.
