This one to suit a high mount and 2"bodylift.
What do you think 60 lovers.

Looks the good Denny! Definately one of the best suited to a 60 I have seen. I don't like how most tube bars in general are tucked into the car. Whats the point of putting a bar on if it's 5mm from the body. But this one is good!

The point I having them close to the body is so you don't completely ruin your approach angle! But if you just want a big bar for the next b&s you should get a 5 poster so you'll fit in!

Judging by the cutout in the bottom of it, and by the way its bolted together(the wings are bolted to the middle bit).

Its an XROX bar.

XROX, NOT XRO!!

Yeh it is an x-rox bar, they werent going to do 1 for the old 60s but i convinced them to try one and see how they look, they may sell a few more without bodylifts and to suit a low mount...
I also thought it should have been a touch higher and bit closer in, that can be modified later if i choose to, but its the way they make them, touch out from the guards.
Guess its something different.

And if you want to damage your bodywork by having it your bar a bee's dick from the body so that it will come back on the body from on impact, don't bother fitting anything!

That bar looks great on a 60 but agree with the comments about the approach angle. XROX make some good bars but also from what I've seen want to charge the world for them ($1000 plus), which for an airbagged car that requires certificates of compatibility is probably a fair option, but I don't see too many people spending over a grand on a generic tube bar for an old 60 series.

You agree it's a good approach or that it should be tucked in more????

Bad approach/made worse by bar is hard to dispute. Half the reason tube bars look awful on landcruisers is they always look like they hang too low. How the body mounts to the chassis does not lend itself well to a protruding bar such as the tube front and this one is no exception. Agree there is limited room for the high mount if it was tucked in more but look at the lines from front on and you could lift that bar another two inches to the bottom of the grill which would gain departure and gain aesthetic. As it is it's extending the chassis reducing the approach, 60s have a hard enough time getting good approaches. Apart from that it's looks a good bar.

I reckon it looks :D

The old 60 clearly isn't a comp car, its a tourer! It cleans up the front of the Cruiser and makes it look a bit differant to all the other 60's out there with the old school ARB/TJM front bars.

Looks too flash to be yours mate :D

Pricey
