Warning Light Issues

Hi.

I seem to have warning lights coming on on start up after ignition but now they do not seem to be turning off.

I have a 99 Hilux and the lights are Pare Brake, TBELT, Engine and Oil. Very strange and has only just started happening. When I start the car these were there but never stayed on. There seems to be problems with any of these. Park Brake works fine. When I "engage it" the light that is staying on brightens up a little brighter.

Any sugestions?

Thanks.

Blow fuse, poor voltage from alternator, poor body-battery earth, blow fuseable link.

park brake light also comes on with low brake fluid (doesn't need to be much below full). But if the other lights are staying on also, it sounds like an electrical problem. Might be alternator overcharging, that sometimes causes dash lights to stay on. Check your charging voltage is no more than about 14.8V.

when my 80 did this it was because the alternator had failed
