Hi All,

The heads on the bolts of my torsion bar adjusters are pretty well stuffed.

I wanted to raise the front a bit so I enquired with Mitsubishi about a new set.

They quoted me $150 for 2 new bolts and associated nuts. :bad-words:

My question is, can I simply measure the lenght and size of the bolt and head to a fastener supplier and get a couple of hi-tensile replacements?

Or has anyone got some they dont need anymore :-)

Cheers

hey mate, if your goin to go to local bolt bloke, u may as well get hi-tensile bolts, just to b on the safe side. have u tried to turn bolt with multi grips from the opposite side of bolt??? probly ur cheapest way rather than spending $3 dollars. spray some wd40 on bolts over night, next day measure the height on the front, then jack the front of car, keep weight off the front tyres undo the two locking nuts and start winding. 10min u should b able to do both sides.
