Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey,
I am looking at chopping my 80 series sahara cab into an extra cab ute, But have a dilema in that the sunroof mechanisim runs right back past the cut line.

Has anyone else come across this, and what did you do to get around it.

Was thinking of just cut down the mechanisim but sure what would be involved there, otherwise will just have to weld up the hole, or replace the roof skin I guess

hi steve i have sahara as well just thinking it will tilt up but no slide
still usable

Yeah, I bought a GXL that didn't have a sunroof

yeah mine had a sunroof before i cut it to a single cab i cut off the old turret and put on another that i got off a wrecker wasn't a hard job to do if you know what your doin
