Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys.

Got a 98 surf here, the bottom end is buggered after being driven with a stuffed injector.

Apparently There is a difference between the early and late 1KZ engine, but have yet to find anybody who can inform me as to what it is.

I can get early surf ones easy enough. but need to know if pumps etc are interchangeable

The later 1kz engines have fly-by-wire throttle and an intercooler. The earlier ones used a cable to the throttle body. The fuel pumps are a little different, fuel temp sender is in a different spot and the spill valve wiring is a bit different.
