You need to get gas injection fitted. Any reputable kit from Australia is fine

Cheers

I wanted impco, they fitted sprintgas...

Seems to work ok but does have issues after they service it, changes to gas too quick on start up and then nearly stalls car.

I got a 4.8 on injected sprint gas. Only had one issue since I had it and it fixed itself. Also upgraded the valve on the mixer thing and replaced the soliniod with an upgraded one as recommended by my local dealer. Runs like a charm

FYI this is not a changing to gas problem its a problem with the gas mix. Mine changes immediatly and never tries to stall. Yet my brothers gq changes after 20 seconds on.petrol and tries to stall all the time.

Apparently the sprint gas systems (well mine apparently), are set to switch over when the engine hits a certian temp too. might want to get ur sesor looked at?

It only does it after they service it. Then we take it back and they fix it. 10,000 latter back for a service and it does it again... Now we still have to take it back again. I just wish they could do it right the first time, so much trouble dropping cars off to get picked up and collect it again.

Seems to me that the way they are servicing it (retuning) is wrong and when you take it back they are readjusting the mix try adjusting the mix yourself by turning the mixer dial about 1mm at a time and never more than a quarter turn in either direction till its better. As a basic tuning rule from fully closed 2 full turns should be close.
