i have a 80series lsd is it worth shimming to make it lockup harder or better to go to a lockrite?

Shimming will never be as strong as a locker. But, the shims will help alot. For the first few runs and then it will be back to normal again.

Depends If it genuine or not.a few runs on a genuine and it will suck again but a aftermarket will last a lot longer

Just go the locker and save yourself the money in the long run

Yep. You'll need an open centre.

will a 60s centre fit a 80 diff?

A 60 series diff will fit the rear of an 80.

you can now get lockrites to suit 80 series lsd
