Ive got a colour FX324, never used it & might never use it, it just sits in the car, I should either learn how to use it or flog it off.
its just a waste of $$$ where it is at the moment.

Are there many winch challenge events that need a GPS. Most of the vic stuff you dont.
Just a tip though. What ever GPS you do get learn how to drive it. Not just punch a waypoint in and hit go. But how to change the map datum and how to project waypoints from different locations.

Up Central Queensland I'm pretty sure every event has gps stages, even the 3 car event has one or two, with the being used as the first stage for everyone to get from camp to the competition staged and/or to blow the cobwebs out and get warmed up,
some are just single point runs, others multi points,
probably because the land where our events are run are alot more open and possibly larger parcels of land that allow us to weild a gps?
