Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone could give me a ball park figure for a SOA conversion and extended shackels for my BJ40. Also is it worth doing?
Secondly, is it easy to convert a hardtop to a softtop? I was thinking of having the cabin closed in for the winter and having the cabin open for the summer. I know I would probably have to get new doors, a new tailgate and a rollcage. Are they easy to swap over?

just undo the bolts and the roof comes off.. bolt back on in winter
Check with your states road authority about roll bar requirements.
You can keep your doors... see bj42turbo's rig or mine in the members section....
the doors on 40's are all pretty much the same apart from some small differences.. (the real early ones are just butt ugly)
I am assuming you have rear barn doors... you could make up a tailgate, or get a hold of the small ones that are on the earlier(?) cruisers.. but wreckers will charge a wounded bull for em...
you can get aftermarket fibreglass ones if you look around....
