G'day just got my self an LN65 and i put a set of 15x10 rims on with 33x12.5 big horns and it rubs the guards badly while off road so im in need of a body lift, i want to do a 2" body lift and was wondering whats involved, so do i need steering extensions or brake line extension or is it fairly straight forward for a 2" body lift?
Any information would be greatly appreciated

Body lifts are easy to do.
Youll need to extend any breather hoses you have currently, and depending on the body type, maybe the fuel filler hoses too(dual cab will need longer filler hoses).
I already had longer brakelines fitted before the BL went into mine.
Get the BL blocks, some Hi-Tensile bolts, and nyloc nuts, re-use the rubber body mounts. Loosen off all the joints on the steering shaft, let them go to where they need to go to, and tighten them up after youre done. You shouldnt need to extend the steering shaft.
Youll need to extend the hard brake and clutch lines, they are the hard lines that come off the master cylinders, the brake lines are easy, just be gentle and unwind them until you have enough.
Some people say to remount the radiator, but I didnt, and I havent had any issues yet, the hoses mount up fine. I did need to trim out the hole around the gearsticks(only on the drivers side), as I couldnt get into some gears smoothly, but check once your done, tin snips did the trick here.
I did mine with the help of a mate and we had it done in under half a day.
We just undid the bolts on the body mounts(my dual cab has 2 mounts at the front, and 3 up each side). Then jacked up the front of the body, took the old bolts out, BL blocks and new longer bolts in, then did the same to the rear of the body, then did the mounts in the middle. Easy!!
Just make sure you take your time, and check then re-check everything as you go, check hard brake/clutch lines, any hoses/wiring around the engine bay, as you go.
When you think you are done, check everything again. Check to make sure you can get into every gear smoothly, and check Hi and low Range too, trim out what you need to. Spoin the engine fan a few times to make sure it doesnt foul on the fan shroud.
Check to make sure everythings tight, all wiring and hoses are fine, and the steering shaft joints have be re-tightened.
Stand back and open a beer, job done.
