turbo deisel problem

i have a MQ patrol with sd 33t motor.Just installed boost gauge and adjustable boost controller when i start it up the boost gauge is showing no boost or no vacumm could the wastegate actuator be stuffed or sticking .Any ideas cheers col

It is normal not to show vacum as diesels dont have a throttle body to create a pressure differential in the manifold. I can't remember does the SD33t have a butterfly valve on the intake?
Where does your gauge pick up from, i.e. turbo housing/ wastegate line or at the manifold and did you tap it into the same line as your boost controler?
If it is tapped into same line as controller it needs to be before the solenoid.

It wont show any boost at idle. Need to get it under load

Unless you've got a gt2860 on a TD42. 1.5psi at idle, I hate lag
