Body Lifts

Hi all. 
I'm looking at going a body lift in my NJ 2.8ITD. I've read thru as many of the previous threads that I could find relating to this issue, coming to the conclusion that I should n't just start the task and "see how it goes", given my limited experience (I still need the vehicle to get to work on a daily basis). 
There are a lot of posts relating to the body lifts, I'm hoping that I could get some advise on my potential escapade. A few queries I have so far :
How do I start ? remove all the existing bolts and then jack the body up an area at atime until new mounts/bolts are inplace ?
what immeadiate issues should I be aware of ? remove the ??? loosen the ??
I'm sure many of you have been through this and can probably steer me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
