35's would be the choicw there for ease of fit my mate did his with 33's and required a fair bit if massaging with a sledge and angle grinder

It will only be 32's -33's with that lift, and you will need to move the diff forward 35mm on the spring perch..

Or can do the rears up front then could push it to 35's..

Unless you are going to chop the shi# out of the guards..

32" fit on my gen 3 with 2" lift (sagged) and no other mods. Rub very slightly on lock.

Well ATM i am running 2 extended shackles and old sagged 2" springs and run 33"s easy. I don't mind chopping the fark and bashing them. I will be running 35"s minimum but also want to have bigger play tyres. The diff hasn't been moved forward yet. But I have just spent close to 4 grand on it( rebuilt motor, auto locker, suspension bushes, diff ratios and diff rebuild kits.) within the last month not including the brand new air locker I got 3 or 4 months ago. So trying to cut down. I will be getting my 35"s cheap ($750) they are Mickey Thompson MTZ half worn on 16" CSA ALLOYS. With almost brand new wrangler. So trying to drive it befor and more serious
Mods where it will be off the road for a while. It's been 12 months and I been missing it

hey buddy,

to run 35's on a lux you will definitely need to move your diff forward, my lux has 3 inch susp lift and 2 inch body and can yea run 35's easy on the road and it clears fine! but if u have any sort of flex they will hit the rear of the firewall. as when leaf spring flex the shackle brings the diff not just up but also backwards slightly. so i suggest u look at that cause cutting the firewall will prove difficult especially if u want it on the road. its not that expensive as brad said 2 options. to use a spring perch to move it forward or u can do a RUF conversion both are in expensive if u are handy yourself.

thanks
drew

I have a 2in body and 2in suspension lift on my gen 2 hilux and i found my 35's wouldnt scrub the body but they would rub on the leaf springs when trying to turn.

It actually reduced my turn radius by alot :?
Thats with -40 offset wheels too

Then i went with some IFS hub spacers, which fixed the turning but it looked like it would scrub the body when flexing after that. I didnt really get to try it before pulling it out to start putting in a 79 series front diff in a further forward position.

Yer don't like body lifts to much I feel the are like diff blocks just there to look bigger. I m going to bash inner guard at the back(firewall section) I don't mind loosing a bitta foot space. Just trim Off excess on outta guard to suit. Never thought of rubbing on spring pack happens on my m8s 75
