One for the 80 series gurus. If it has a viscous center diff (full time 4wd) is there still a center diff lock in low range. There is no button for center diff lock.

It will still have a centre diff lock, wouldn't be a 4wd without it. There should be a button there for it.

Certain 80's only engaged 4wd in low range newer models had the centre diff lock switch to engage h4. The wiring for the switch is in all 80 series and can be plugged in and put in any model.

At least this was my understanding after reading the manual.

X2

Models with viscous coupling had no CDL switch. All engage CDL when low range is selected, all will have wiring behind the dash for a CDL switch, source a switch, pop out the blank plate on the dash, plug in switch and enjoy.
