hey guys just wondering if anyone knows the actual procedure on how to and where to plumb in a boost controller to a 96 GQ 2.8td...
already has boost gauge on, but cant seem to make any boost over 8psi??
Have tryed with no success on increasing boost with controller. If anyone knows anything please let me know.. just want to get her to 12psi...
cheers.
standard turbo, turbo line runs from turbo around to actuator with a T piece that sends another line up to injector pump.

You need to put it in the line that goes from the turbo T-piece to the turbo wastegate actuator. IE you need to bleed off air pressure to the actuator valve so it doesnt react as quickly.
The line going to the injector pump is for the boost compensator. This needs to measure the full boost being produced

P.S The stock turbo is only good for around 14 -15psi with the wastegate disconnected.
