Mods to RA Rodeo

Hey guys
Pretty new to the 4wd world, all my efforts in the past have been designed to reduce the clearance between all of my vehicles and the pavement not the opposite so need some advice/info.
I want to increase the ground clearance of my '04 RA Rodeo to fit a bit bigger rubber under the guards and to generally improve how she'll handle off road. (improving badass look also a plus)
Can anyone give me some advice on what direction I should go in terms of springs/shocks/lift kits, etc. Every aftermarket 4wd merchant I talk to tells me to buy their equipment, the latest was that noone else but ARB yet develop a fully integrated system for upgrading RA rodeo suspension and therefore informed me that I HAD to go for an OME upgrade. I have friends who bag OME suspension heaps, one specifically going for rancho shocks after his OME's leaked after about 30ks. I really like the look of the RS9000X's and incab system (keep the missus from complaining about the harshness of the unladen truck).
Anyone done work on their RA Rodeo or know of somewhere I can go for some advice?
Cheers
